With only two residents this year, the annual show did not happen. Instead, two shows were held in a small gallery space at the museum itself. For current information on the residency program, see here

The Space Between Worlds
Christina Lafontaine
A dreamy alternate world in miniature

"The Space Between Worlds is a liminal place, a gateway to other worlds that exists in a fluid state of time - past, present, and future occurring all at once. The sculpture represents a place of crossroads with doorways to unknown numbers of parallel worlds - remnants of scaffolding with various connectors - ladders, tracks, slides are overgrown with moss and fantastical plants, showing signs of life, but also abandonment. The piece is sculpted using mostly synthetic materials inspired by both natural landscapes and our constructed realities, playing on feelings of wonder, nostalgia, and the uncanny."
